A Place of Mind: A New Definition of Oasis of Living - A Cave of Tranquility for a Perfect Life
In an era where life is filled with hustle and bustle, a home is no longer just a place to live; it becomes a sanctuary for the heart, allowing life to regain balance. This is the essence of the concept "A PLACE OF MIND", the heart of the design for BAAN 365 SUKHUMVIT 77, a premium single-family home developed by LP.N. Development Public Company Limited. The design work is by P.A. Design Co., Ltd., aiming to convey the meanings of “Place of Mind” and “Simple Luxury” through the story of “a true home” via architecture that is simple yet deeply understands the context of life.

The core of the design for BAAN 365 SUKHUMVIT 77 begins with understanding the lifestyles of modern individuals, including their living styles and how they spend time in their personal spaces at home. Therefore, the design emphasizes creating homes that feel open, bright, and fluid, allowing residents to feel relaxed and experience natural tranquility. Key functions such as the hall, stairs, kitchen, and bathrooms are all placed in one zone to minimize disturbances in living areas, allowing the living room, dining area, and life spaces to connect seamlessly in an open space that can be adapted to the family's lifestyle, such as accommodating a large dining table for 8-10 people or multiple seating sofas without feeling cramped. The design also maintains a simplicity that conveys a timeless quality, regardless of the era.

Additionally, a “Third Space” has been designed to meet real-life needs, such as a work corner that is not enclosed and a personal activity area that still allows visibility of family members, helping everyone have their own space without being isolated. This area ensures that “the home is a place for everyone”, enhancing the quality of time spent together, such as around the dining table.
As for the interior decoration, it focuses on creating a living concept that highlights the Oasis of Living, designed by Interior Vision, using the Type S (SUNSHINE) home as the main decorative concept to convey the feeling of being in a “cave of tranquility”. The natural colors inspired by the cave, such as Larvikite, are incorporated into the decor to evoke a modern, simple, and stylish atmosphere through the design of living spaces and the selection of furniture and decorations used in each area of the home.

Starting from the first floor, upon entering through the door, the first thing felt is the soft and orderly ambiance of the small entrance area, serving as a buffer zone that organizes life before stepping into the main living area. A large shoe cabinet is discreetly hidden, and as one moves inside, they experience the Double Space, which acts as a breath of fresh air, allowing openness to thrive. The vertical ceiling height creates a dimension that makes the home appear larger. Built-in furniture is seamlessly integrated into the walls to minimize visual clutter, opening up the space without chaos. The choice of dark gray and black furniture shades conveys a sense of calm, sophistication, and elegance, as the luxury of LPN is not about extravagance but rather a quiet, profound, and powerful style. The home also features a relaxation corner for family members to connect with nature or transform into a gathering spot for family and friends, seamlessly connecting to the living room and kitchen, designed to link to the dining and living areas while using glass partitions to block noise from cooking and any odors that may disturb those in other zones.
On the second floor, the bedrooms are designed for privacy, controlling the direction of light that enters. The Master Bedroom is designed to feel airy and open, with views of the surrounding greenery. The space includes a walk-in closet, relaxation area, and a bathroom that receives just the right amount of natural light. Additionally, a connecting balcony between rooms enhances the home's livability. The children's bedrooms also prioritize good lighting, privacy, and complete functionality, with designs that maximize usable space and window placements that receive natural light while maintaining privacy from neighboring homes.

On the third floor, it is noteworthy that many families today place greater importance on their four-legged pets, treating them as family members. Therefore, the design includes special areas or corners to accommodate beloved pets, reflecting the lifestyle needs of modern individuals. Thus, the significance of the design and decoration of this home serves as an exemplary model of a design that encompasses functionality, emotional resonance, intelligently connected spaces, and a style that clearly reflects the homeowner's identity.
